Senior Osteopath

With over 30 years as a surfing athlete and 20 years as a surf coach, Nuno’s passion for the health and recovery of athletes led him to pursue a career in osteopathy. He earned his Bachelor's in Osteopathy from the Instituto de Medicina Tradicional in Portugal in 2010 and completed an Advanced Course in Osteopathy from Lusofona University in 2013.

In 2015, Nuno further specialized by completing two courses in Paediatric Osteopathy from L’associazione Italiana per la Divulgazione della Cultura Osteopatica (in partnership with Master Physical Therapy) and Deport Medicine Center in Spain. He is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.

Nuno is highly skilled in structural osteopathy, using manipulative and soft tissue techniques, visceral osteopathy to improve organ function, and cranio-sacral osteopathy, which utilizes light touch to release tension in membranes and enhance fluid flow. His diverse expertise allows him to treat a wide range of patients, from newborns and toddlers to adults, addressing both acute and chronic conditions.

When not in the clinic, Nuno stays active with various outdoor sports, practices Jiu-Jitsu, and enjoys spending time with his two young sons.
