Sion Gwydion Jones – Physiotherapist
Sion is from Wales in the UK and has a background in Sports Coaching BSc (Hons) from Cardiff University followed by a Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) from Plymouth University in 2012. He initially worked in the National Health Service in a state-of-the-art orthopaedic unit dealing with both acute and chronic conditions while also providing physiotherapy support for a Premiership Rugby Union club in South Wales thus enabling him to experience the challenges of working with professional athletes.
Sion is also qualified in dry needling, acupuncture, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy and since moving to the UAE has specialised in creating tailored treatment plans to suit individuals’ needs to overcome and prevent further injuries. He particularly enjoys meeting people from all over the world while working with them to enhance their quality of life, achieve their goals and reach their athletic potential.
In his free time, Sion participates in a variety of sports including CrossFit, surfing, skiing, and in a previous life participated in rugby and horse riding. He holds several teaching qualifications including swimming and skiing and is a qualified and practicing CrossFit coach.
Sion continually strives to broaden his knowledge and skillset to achieve the best possible results for clients and believes that as a medical professional the purpose is not only to treat but to inform and educate clients to enable them to take the necessary steps in preventing future recurrence of physical issues.Make an Appointment
