Fatma is a senior physiotherapist with 16 years of experience in orthopedic physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, sports therapy, geriatric physiotherapy, and pain management. She holds a Doctorate in Physiotherapy from Pamukkale University and a master’s certification in manual therapy. Her clinical training also includes osteopathy, sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, pelvic floor physiotherapy, kinesiotaping, dry needling, and acupuncture. She began her academic journey at Hacettepe University, graduating with a strong foundation in physiotherapy.
Fatma’s international career spans Turkey, the Netherlands, and Dubai, where she has practiced in top hospitals and medical centers. Her expertise covers trauma rehabilitation, ICU physiotherapy, general medical and respiratory therapy, and the management of complex orthopedic and neurological conditions. She also has extensive experience in hand therapy, having worked for several years alongside hand surgeons in major hospitals, delivering rehabilitation programs in line with established surgical protocols.
In Dubai, she has spent over four years working in prominent healthcare institutions, delivering advanced physiotherapy treatments tailored to a diverse patient base. In the area of women’s health, in addition to pelvic floor physiotherapy, she is also trained in Prenatal Pilates. Beyond her clinical role, Fatma has contributed to the field through evidence-based research, having produced award-winning studies and authored internationally recognized publications that support the ongoing development of physiotherapy practice.
